Basically the only thing I like is the location -
The hotel staff is not accommodating, the room is very small for the price, the tv set is conventional, breakfast is not good -
Convenient, right next to the Victory Liner Bus terminal. Staff are accomodating and the breakfast is good.
Only place that I have stayed which made a copy of my credit card and drivers license which is highly irregular. I would have stayed elsewhere if I knew of this practice beforehand since it would be a nightmare if this info fell into the hands of the wrong people while touring in the Philippines. Extremely anxiety provoking.
Good central location close to bus terminal.
The cost of the room was higher than what I booked on the internet. It seems to price advertised online did not include vat. This is sneaky and has put me off returning there.
The room is reasonably big & clean. The front desk staffs are very helpful & friently.
* They txt in advance to determine my expected time of arrival * Check-in was fast * Room was very clean and confortable * unlimited coffee 24 hrs at the lobby * check-out was also fast.
I wish they had affordable rooms for the driver I brought along for the trip.
centrally located, helpfull personel, great breakfast
drinking water in the rooms would have been nice
We liked the place, the hotel and the location.
We missed the restaurants.
I liked the location but hated breakfast!!! Anyone could get a better street food than the breakfast they serve. It was really really really awful. For the price we paid we could have gotten the same comfortable room and with a lot better breakfast in another hotel. It was a mistake to have booked at Microtel Baguio. Never going back there and would not recommend that hotel.
Best of all, the staff;; everyone was well-trained, cheerful, courteous and helpful. The rooms and public areas were all very clean. It really is great value for money. We enjoyed our stay even if it was stormy outside.
There was no wood in its interiors. Baguio is just not the same without the smell and sound of wood in your living space.
fast and efficient check-in, hotel staff even allowed us to check-in earlier than 2:00pm, soft and comfortable bed, free coffee and tea at the lobby, courteous staff, buffet breakfast is included, with a variety of food served, good location since hotel is just beside Victory Liner bus station, near SM Baguio and other places of interest, guard on duty will assist you in getting a cab
suggestion for the hotel; provide choco drink too for the children, slippers for the guests, toothpaste and toothbrush if possible
This hotel is perfectly situated near to the Victory liner terminal. The city center is also within walking distance, as well as the beautifully located SM Mall. The hotel employees are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but very clean.
The breakfast room looks more like a conference room, but that's just a detail.
Good location, close to SM Mall and amenities near Session Road. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. They make me feel comfortable and welcome there. My suite room is spacious with great mountain view. Room service is always very professional. This is a mid-range hotel in terms of pricing, but I feel the service there is comparable to luxury hotel if not better! I ended up staying there for 7 days.
Hotel staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful!
No free wifi internet in a hotel is the most frustrating thing for travelers! Having to pay php100 for an hours internet is insane! The hotel restaurant is Spanish can you believe that! The restaurant was really the worst feature, why would somebody travel to the Philippians to eat Spanish food, more over the free breakfast is 80% Filipino and frankly I really don't want to eat rice for breakfast. The restaurant would not allow us wearing traditional Filipino footwear which really leaves a bad taste. This restaurant is pretentious way beyond reality and I would not stay here again.
Drinking water was available in the halls and ice was available in the lobby. The hotel is connected by a walkway to the Victory Liner bus station, which is convenient for travel between cities.
Extremely high charges for internet access (P300 per hour or P1000 for 15 hours). Children over twelve cost P750 each per night just to stay on the sofa sleeper already in the room. To make it worse, if you don't log out directly, the internet minutes are used up even after shutting down your computer or iPad, and it is impossible to log out from the iPad. Tip: sign onto the wifi with two devices at once so your iPad connection will be kicked off. Tha manager quoted us P300 for breakfast for extra guests, but the staff tried to charge P500 (and the breakfast is nothing special at all). The bathroom faucet leaked and everything was of cheap quality, such as one-ply toilet paper., which tore through no matter how thick it was folded
